We joined the Ocean Elders’ Town Hall with Dr. Sylvia Earle for a live Ask-Me-Anything on Zoom: “How our depleted and stressed natural systems gave rise to Covid-19.”
She addressed the links between rampant consumption of wildlife and destruction of natural systems on a global basis and the emergence of Covid-19, which has transformed how we will live going forward. Additionally, how each of us can take action to protect and restore large areas of land and ocean, and work together to rebuild our planet and hinder pandemics like Covid-19 from happening again.
